Academy is a window, not a clan forever

Clan academy interlude is a window: clan level 5+, recruit below 40, no second class, extra EXP until that window closes. On L2 Sansara EXP/SP/Adena are x500; item drop stays x1. The bar is already fast. Academy is how a clan still captures the first days of a new character. This page is that window. It is not how to found a clan. It is not a hall. It is not a siege roster.

How Academy Works L2

How academy works l2 is three checks. The clan is academy level 5 clan or higher. The academy recruit interlude is academy under 40 and has not taken 2nd class. The leader (or someone who can invite) puts them in academy, not in a full member seat by accident. Academy clan interlude is that seat. It is not a second clan.

Say the rules out loud when you invite. “We are 5+. You are 22. Do not take 2nd until we say so, or until you refuse the bonus.” That sentence prevents the 2 a.m. quest click. On a low-rate realm you had days to have that talk. On L2 Sansara you have hours. The recruit who already hit 38 in a random clan is not your academy problem. They are someone else’s graduate. Invite earlier or accept you missed the window.

Academy EXP is not a third rate column we will invent. It is extra experience in a short seat. Item drop stays x1. The recruit still buys shots. The recruit still dies to a flag if they walk a red field. Do not tell them “x500 plus academy means you can skip the grocer.” That is how academy alts become pink corpses with empty belts. The bonus is a bar. The belt is still a belt.

If L2 Sansara changed the level-5 gate or the under-40 rule, the sheet says so — /info. We will not invent a “academy at clan level 1” skip.

Academy Bonus Interlude and Clan Academy EXP

Academy bonus interlude is extra experience. Clan academy exp is the same sentence in shout. On x500 the bonus is still a bonus — it does not multiply drop. You will hit 40 in a blink. That is why the invite has to be early. A recruit who already took 2nd class in a field is not an academy recruit. They are a late member.

Academy does not pick your 3rd class. It does not give skill books. It does not give a hall. It shortens 1–40. Role pages still matter after the window — best classes.

Academy Graduate Interlude and CR

Academy graduate interlude is the person who left the window the C6 way: 2nd class, or the level the book uses. Classic Interlude pays the clan reputation for that graduate. We do not publish a CR table. Drop x1 and CR are not the same coin. Clan level still wants CR — that story stays on the create-clan page.

A clan that only exists to farm graduates and never sieges is an academy mill. That is allowed. Call it a mill. Do not call it a castle clan — castle siege.

x500 makes the window short

On a low-rate realm, academy is a week of planning. Here it is a night. Recruit at 15, not at 39. Tell them not to slam Warrior / Knight / Rogue out of habit if you still want the bonus. The class-change article already warned this. This page owns the keyword now.

Shots and gear still follow drop x1. A 38 in academy with an empty belt is still a walk to Giran — soulshot spiritshot. Enchant +4 / +18 is for the kit you will keep after 40, not for a D-grade you will crystalize at 41.

What academy is not

It is not a clan hall. It is not manor. It is not Olympiad 18:00–22:00 GMT-3 — Olympiad. It is not noblesse — noblesse. A recruit can do those later. They cannot do them from inside the under-40 seat.

Kamael academy does not exist. Dual class does not exist. If a video sells those as Interlude, it is another chronicle.

Invites, language, the GMT-3 clock

L2 Sansara chat is ES/PT/EN. An academy invite in any of those languages is still an invite. The siege does not care which language recruited you. The window cares about 40 and 2nd class. Be online when the clan is online. A mill that never talks is a tag in your nick and no party.

Playing is free. Donate coin exists; we do not write “zero donate.” A shop that sells “instant academy clan 5” is a shop. It is not this mechanic.

A week of academy, written down

Night one: create the character, ask in ES/PT/EN whether any clan is 5+ and recruiting academy. Night two: if yes, sit the seat before 20 if you can. Night three: do not slam 1st class? First class is fine. Second class is the door that closes the window. Night four: farm with the bonus. Buy shots. The bonus does not multiply drop.

Night five: you are 35. The clan still wants the window. Wait if you agreed to wait. Night six: graduate — 2nd class, the CR for the clan if the book pays it. Night seven: look at the nick. If you are 41 with no 2nd because you “forgot,” you are not academy. You are lost. If you are 40 with 2nd and no clan, you closed the window alone. The bar is free. The invite time is the week.

What a bad academy night looks like

Invite at 39. Slam 2nd at 21 because a thumbnail said “lock the class.” Found a level-1 clan and wait for academy the same day. Mix academy with a hall bid. Mix academy with a siege roster. Sell “instant clan 5” as this mechanic. Call academy useless on x500 after you invited too late.

Fix is boring. Clan 5+. Under 40. No 2nd. Invite early. Ask before the quest. That is academy on L2 Sansara. EXP is x500. The window is still a window. It just closes faster.

Create the character, then ask about academy before 2nd
