The C1–C6 list that stops at Interlude

Lineage 2 chronicles from Prelude through C6 Interlude. Official C1–C6 names, what each chapter added, and why L2 Sansara runs Interlude — not High Five.

Lineage 2 chronicles are the numbered retail chapters, not patches and not private rates. If you want the lineage 2 chronicle list — c1 to c6 lineage 2, official names, what each box actually shipped — this is that dictionary. It is not the Interlude-versus-High Five fight and not a Steam store explainer. Those already have pages.

L2 Sansara runs Interlude. The playable C6 snapshot — cap 80, five races, what the season does and does not include — lives in what is Interlude. This URL stops at the timeline so those hubs stay themselves.

Chronicle order L2: Prelude to Interlude

Chronicle order l2 for the era this realm still cares about is short: Prelude, then Chronicle 1 through Chronicle 5, then Chronicle 6 — Interlude. Prelude to interlude is that whole walk. Each chapter added cities, systems, or a cap change. None of them is a rate table.

The private scene writes C0 for Prelude and C6 for Interlude even though NCSoft printed Interlude as the first Chaotic Throne chapter (CT0), not “Chronicle 6” on the box. Both labels point at the same cut. We will not invent an unofficial C7 Interlude to sell a sequel on this login.

  1. Prelude (sometimes C0). Launch. Aden opens. No C-number on the box.
  2. Chronicle 1 — Harbingers of War. First numbered chapter. Castle siege, clan hall, Antharas.
  3. Chronicle 2 — Age of Splendor. Innadril, Heine, striders, Tower of Insolence, Baium, Zaken. Not Darkness Awakening.
  4. Chronicle 3 — Rise of Darkness. Seven Signs, subclass, wyvern, Combat Points.
  5. Chronicle 4 — Scions of Destiny. Goddard, 3rd class at 76, noblesse, Olympiad, Valakas.
  6. Chronicle 5 — Oath of Blood. Cap 80, clan reputation, academy, Rune and Schuttgart castles.
  7. Chronicle 6 — Interlude (The Chaotic Throne: Interlude). The cut L2 Sansara hosts.

Korea opened Prelude on 1 October 2003. North America followed in April 2004. Those dates date boxes. They do not open a C4 realm here.

The Chaotic Chronicle is not The Chaotic Throne

The Chaotic Chronicle is the saga stamp on Prelude through C5. NCSoft used it to name the war-and-clan game they shipped, not as a sixth chapter you can download instead of Interlude. Scions of destiny sits inside that saga as C4’s box title. It is useful when you are dating a screenshot. It is useless as a 2026 client picker.

The Chaotic Throne is the next saga. It opens at Interlude and then keeps going: The Kamael, Hellbound, Gracia, High Five. A forum post that only says “Chaotic Throne” has named a bookshelf, not a chapter. Ask which book. If the answer is Interlude, you are on this list. If the answer is High Five, you left it — that comparison is Interlude vs High Five, not a row we rewrite here.

Prelude and Chronicle 1: Harbingers of War

Prelude is the first retail Aden: Talking Island, Gludio, Dion, Giran, Oren, the five races that still exist on this realm — Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Orc, Dwarf. First class around 20, second at 40. The box subtitle was The Chaotic Chronicle. It is not “Interlude with fewer buttons.” Someone who “played Prelude” is talking about a smaller map and an older protocol, not cap 80 and not Life Stone augment.

Chronicle 1: Harbingers of War is the first numbered chapter. NCSoft shipped it as a free update on top of Prelude. This is where the war kit people still mean when they say “this is actually Lineage 2” lands: castle sieges for Gludio, Dion, Giran, Oren and Aden; clan halls (auction, not a housing DLC); the PvP flag that turns a field into a fight; Antharas in Dragon Valley. A 2026 private that is still a clean Prelude or clean C1 is rare. If the banner says Interlude, it is not C1.

What you inherit on L2 Sansara from this pair is the Aden spine and the siege idea — not a C1 client. Download Interlude. A Prelude exe will not handshake this gameserver. Protocol noise belongs in client errors.

Chronicle 2: Age of Splendor

Chronicle 2: Age of Splendor is the official C2 title — not a forum nickname. If you saw “Darkness Awakening” glued to C2, that name is not on this row. Rise of Darkness is C3. Awakening is Goddess of Destruction, years after C6. Age of Splendor also reused later as a Lineage 2 Classic chapter: same stamp, different product. On the c1 to c6 lineage 2 list, Age of Splendor is C2.

C2 is the chapter that opens the map Interlude still walks. Innadril arrives with Heine and Innadril Castle — the sixth siege. Devil’s Isle and Zaken sit off Giran. Aden plants the Tower of Insolence with Baium at the top. Underwater hunting, strider mounts, manor, and dyes settle in. Mid-game starts dressing in the B-grade sets of that era: Zubei, Avadon, Blue Wolf, Doom. A private that calls itself “C2” is not Interlude: no Seven Signs, no 3rd class, no cap 80.

If you farm TOI, if your clan names Baium, if a boat drops you near Devil’s Isle, you are standing on Age of Splendor content that C6 inherited. It did not invent those places. How to run the tower or the island is other guides. This page only dates the cut.

Chronicle 3: Rise of Darkness

Chronicle 3: Rise of Darkness (2005) is the chapter that installs the political cycle Interlude still runs: Seven Signs. Lords of Dawn versus the Revolutionary Army of Dusk, the three seals, catacombs, necropolis, Festival of Darkness, Ancient Adena. Castle holders and everyone else split into cabals. The Mammon traders you still see on Interlude come from this system, not from High Five.

C3 also opens subclass through Mimir’s Elixir — a second class at 40, not dual class. The wyvern appears as the flying mount on top of C2’s strider. Combat Points (the CP bar in PvP) and A-grade gear arrive. The character cap is still 75. There is no 3rd class yet. A banner that says “C3” and sells Archmage or cap 80 is mixing eras.

Rise of Darkness gets searched less than Scions of Destiny, which is why thin lists skip it. Do not skip it. Without C3 there is no Seven Signs and no subclass in the kit privates still call classic. Seal cycles and cabal choice live in Seven Signs Interlude. How the second class is taken lives in subclass and noblesse. Here the only job is the date: those systems were born in C3 and C6 still runs them.

Chronicle 4: Scions of Destiny

Scions of Destiny is the commercial name of Chronicle 4 (NA, February 2006). People search the stamp when they cannot remember the number. C4 is not Interlude and not C5. It pushes Elmore north: Goddard Castle Town, Goddard Castle, Ketra Orcs and Varka Silenos, Wall of Argos, Imperial Tomb, Hot Springs, Forge of the Gods. Valakas enters through that forge. Rune Castle Town is already on the map; Rune Castle itself is still a C5 door.

On rules, C4 is the jump from mid-era to the Lineage 2 people name out loud. Cap moves from 75 to 78. Third class lands at 76 — Phoenix Knight, Sagittarius (from Hawkeye), Adventurer (from Treasure Hunter), Archmage, and the rest of that tree. Noblesse quest. Grand Olympiad and Hero. S-grade. Dimensional Rift. Blessed enchant scrolls. C4 still has no academy and no clan reputation points: those are Oath of Blood. A private sold as “Scions” or “C4” should be asked for cap, 3rd-class list, and client. Gluing a C6 roster onto a Scions banner is custom, not the chronicle.

Chronicle 5: Oath of Blood

Chronicle 5: Oath of Blood (2006) is the clan-machine chapter. Clan reputation (CRP) arrives. The academy arrives. Clan level ceiling moves from 5 to 8. Royal Guard and Order of Knights show up as the extra rooms a high clan actually uses. Interlude inherits that kit, which is why Interlude still talks about clan 5+, academy members under 40 with no 2nd class, and clan skills. That is not High Five content. It was born in C5 and it is still C6. The how-to sits in clan academy.

C5 also raises the cap from 78 to 80 — the ceiling Interlude keeps — and adds Rune Castle and Schuttgart Castle (Benom under Rune). C5 is still not Interlude. The C6 package is missing: Life Stone augment, Primeval Isle, Frintezza’s Last Imperial Tomb, the 2007 map people mean when they say “this is the L2 I remember.” A “C5” server and an “Interlude” server do not share a client. If staff ask for Interlude, they mean C6.

What chronicle is Interlude: C6

What chronicle is interlude is the only exam question that matters at this login: C6. Officially it is The Chaotic Throne: Interlude, the bridge chapter that closes The Chaotic Chronicle and opens the next saga. The private scene still says C6, and on banners C6 and Interlude are the same cut. Cap 80. Five races. Third class at 76. No Kamael. No playable fortress. No Awakening. No dual class.

What C6 itself added on top of C5 is the late classic layer: weapon augment with Life Stones, Primeval Isle (the dinosaur island, Sailren), Frintezza in the Last Imperial Tomb, and the shadow-item experiment of that year. The rest of the kit — Seven Signs, subclass, noblesse, Olympiad, castle siege, S-grade — is inheritance. This page names that inheritance. It does not rewrite the Interlude hub.

Why this realm froze the list here

L2 Sansara is Interlude because C6 is the last snapshot where the kit still reads as castle-and-Olympiad Lineage 2. Five races. 3rd class names you can still say without a Gracia glossary. Cap 80. Seven Signs as the weekly political machine. Subclass, not dual class. Castle siege, not Gracia fortress. The Kamael chapter adds a sixth race. Hellbound and Gracia move the map. High Five is another conversation and another client.

That is a freeze reason, not a ranking. This URL cuts here on purpose. EXP, SP and Adena x500 with item drop x1 is L2 Sansara’s sheet, not NCSoft 2007. Safe enchant +4 and a +18 cap are this realm’s table. Olympiad is 18:00–22:00 GMT-3; Hero is noblesse plus nine fights on the published rule. Subclass is free on the character sheet. Noblesse as published is last hit on Barakiel in a party. None of that is “what Interlude always was.” Retail C6 was not x500. Read /info for the live sheet. Do not blend private rates into a chronicle name.

Lineage 2 C4 C5 C6 is history, not a picker

Lineage 2 c4 c5 c6 is the late trio veterans still say in one breath. C4 drew the 3rd-class tree. C5 locked the cap at 80 and turned the clan into a machine. C6 is the private-server default. Saying the trio does not mean this login offers three realms. L2 Sansara offers one: Interlude.

A C4 client will not speak this protocol. A C5 exe will not either. “I have an old Scions ISO” is a museum sentence. The working door is the Interlude pack plus this server’s patch — download Interlude, install the patch. L2J versus L2Off is an engine talk, not a chronicle number; that split lives in L2J vs L2Off.

How to read a banner that says C6, Interlude, or Chaotic Throne

Use this lineage 2 chronicle list as a decoder, not a scoreboard. Banners lie when they mix saga stamp, C-number, and the exe on disk.

  • “C6” or “Interlude.” Same chapter. Ask for the Interlude client. That is L2 Sansara.
  • “The Chaotic Throne” alone. Ambiguous. Could be Interlude or any later chapter under that stamp. Ask for the chapter name.
  • “C4” / “Scions of Destiny” or “C5” / “Oath of Blood.” Not Interlude. Other cap, other client, other roster.
  • “HF” / “High Five” / “H5.” You left C1–C6. That argument is the High Five pillar, not this list.
  • “Classic” or “Essence.” Modern official products. Not a C-number. Other article: Classic vs Interlude.

Each chapter speaks another protocol. A High Five exe does not enter an Interlude gameserver. A Prelude exe does not talk to C6. Steam Classic or Essence does not either. The symptom is protocol version or a silent disconnect at login. This list does not repair the client. Match the banner to the disk, then download the pack this realm publishes.

What this list refuses to absorb

This URL is the lineage 2 chronicles list from Prelude to C6. It is not three neighbor articles glued together.

After this list sit The Kamael, Hellbound, Gracia and High Five. They are named so you do not stuff them into “C6.” They are not playable on L2 Sansara. Official versus private is a different door — official vs private. A legal essay is not a chronicle list. A pirate ISO archive is not a chronicle list. Playing here is free; donate coin exists; we do not write “zero donate.” Shop detail is on /info.

If the list was enough and you want Aden C6, L2 Sansara is Interlude PvP: EXP/SP/Adena x500, drop x1, Olympiad 18:00–22:00 GMT-3. Create the account, download Interlude, and treat every earlier chapter as history until the login box. C1 to C6 is the road. Interlude is the stop. This realm does not run the rest.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What chronicle is Interlude?
Interlude is Chronicle 6 — C6 in private-server shorthand, CT0 on the official Chaotic Throne sheet. Same cut. L2 Sansara is Interlude. It is not High Five, Classic, or Essence. The playable snapshot sits in what is Interlude.
What is the Lineage 2 chronicle list from C1 to C6?
Prelude, Chronicle 1 Harbingers of War, Chronicle 2 Age of Splendor, Chronicle 3 Rise of Darkness, Chronicle 4 Scions of Destiny, Chronicle 5 Oath of Blood, Chronicle 6 Interlude. That is the C1 to C6 Lineage 2 road. Later chapters exist; this realm does not run them.
Are Prelude and Chronicle 1 the same update?
No. Prelude is the launch box. Chronicle 1: Harbingers of War is the first numbered chapter — castle siege, clan hall, Antharas. Forums smash them together. The list does not.
Is Scions of Destiny Chronicle 4?
Yes. Scions of Destiny is the box name for C4. C5 is Oath of Blood. C6 is Interlude. Remembering the stamp is not the same as logging into that client.
Are The Chaotic Chronicle and The Chaotic Throne the same era?
No. The Chaotic Chronicle covers Prelude through C5. The Chaotic Throne opens at Interlude and keeps going (The Kamael, Hellbound, Gracia, High Five). A banner that only says Chaotic Throne has not named a chapter.
Can I play C4 or C5 on L2 Sansara?
No. L2 Sansara is Interlude (C6). Prelude to Interlude is history on this page, not a server browser. Download the C6 client from /download.
Is Chronicle 2 called Darkness Awakening?
No. C2 is Age of Splendor. Rise of Darkness is C3. Awakening is Goddess of Destruction, years after this list. Darkness Awakening is not an official C2 title.
If a banner says C6, is that Interlude?
On the private scene, yes: C6 and Interlude name the same cut. Ask for the Interlude client, not High Five. If the banner says HF or High Five, you already left this list.
Why do so many private servers freeze on Interlude?
C6 is the last snapshot that still reads as classic castle-and-Olympiad Lineage 2: five races, 3rd class at 76, cap 80, Seven Signs, subclass — not dual class, not fortress, not Kamael. L2 Sansara picked that cut. Rates on the sheet are private, not 2007 retail.
Is this the Interlude versus High Five article?
No. Kamael, Awakening and the HF client live in Interlude vs High Five. Steam / Classic / Essence live in Classic vs Interlude. This page is the C1–C6 list.

Playing on L2 Sansara is free. PvP, farm and Olympiad make sense when you read them — and you win them by playing. Discord is where clan, raid and siege come together.
