Nine seats: who sits, who farms, who raids

Interlude party composition: tank, healer, buffer and DPS that start a C6 raid. Nine seats, loot mode, command channel — not a High Five wishlist on L2 Sansara.

An Interlude party is nine portraits, one leader, and a job. Interlude party composition is who sits those portraits — not a High Five raid frame, not Essence’s seven-man finder, not nine nukes because EXP is already x500. On L2 Sansara the chronicle is Interlude: cap 80, five races, no Kamael, no dual class. EXP, SP and Adena run x500. Item drop and spoil stay x1. The ninth seat is a function or it is weight on a crystal.

This Interlude party guide is seats, invite, loot mode, farm versus flag, and when a command channel Interlude is the real ask. Class ranking: best classes. Alone kits: best solo class. Boss names: raid bosses. Tank, Bishop and songs each have their own URL. This page does not reprint them.

9 man party L2: the Interlude ceiling

A 9 man party L2 is the vanilla ceiling: one leader, eight invites, nine bars. A tenth body is another party or they sit in the channel above you. Cap 80. Third class at 76. Steam Classic and Essence trained people on seven portraits and a dungeon queue. That client is not /download.

What the group shares, without a formula L2 Sansara did not publish:

  • EXP. Split in range. x500 is already on the account. A retail party bonus exists in the book; we will not invent a percent or a “x4500 party.” Custom party rate, if any: /info.
  • Adena. Still x500 per kill. More corpses per minute is more silver — not a second rate stacked on the first.
  • Items. The leader picks loot mode. Drop and spoil stay x1. Nine people do not multiply a recipe.

Nine is a cap, not homework. Duo nuke plus buffer clears a soft camp. Trio tank-healer-nuke opens a mid dungeon. Fill toward nine when the pack is dense, Sweep is worth a chair, or the floor is flagged. Nine AFK portraits in Giran only split the bar. Route: leveling Interlude.

Invite and Looking for Party are not the same tool

The join is the invite. Right-click → Invite, or /invite plus the name. They click yes. Until that window accepts you do not have a party. The leader kicks, passes lead, and opens loot. The party window — nine bars, not a 40-man raid HUD — is in Interlude HUD.

Looking for Party / Waiting for Party is the board. Classic shortcut: Alt+P. Post level band, map, the hole. People request. You still invite. Matching does not teleport, reserve a chair, or replace a leader who knows the pull. “Healer, Cruma, shots ready” fills. “Party” in trade does not.

Matching window versus Giran shout

Two signs, two clocks. The matching list stays. Giran shout dies under “WTS recipe” in ten seconds. Use the board to assemble a sit (Cruma, a TOI floor, Valley for an hour). Use shout when you are already on the tile and one chair is empty. Do not expect a 15:00 GMT-3 post to behave like 21:00. L2 Sansara talks on a GMT-3 clock: NA and EU evenings overlap the mass. Afternoon silence is timezone, not a bug.

If you are the hole — tank, healer, a real buffer — the board finds you. If you are the fifth nuke, say you have blessed spiritshot. One PC equals one farming account. A second window in the count is a box, not a nine.

Party roles Interlude: four jobs, then the rest

Party roles Interlude start as jobs, not “friend logged in.” Tank, healer, buffer, DPS is the skeleton. The other five chairs are jobs if the floor asks. They are fashion if they do not.

  • Tank. Opens the pack, holds the boss, eats the hit a robe cannot. Empty chair: the healer is the pull. Phoenix Knight, Hell Knight, Eva Templar, Shillien Templar — same job, different 3rd. Hold kit: tank Interlude.
  • Healer. Keeps tank and casters standing. Rez is why a raid exists after a smash. Cardinal, Eva’s Saint, Shillien Saint. Kit page: Bishop Interlude.
  • Buffer. Chants, prophecies, songs, dances, seals — four chairs, not one shout. An NPC pack is not one of them.
  • DPS. Empties the pack or the player. AoE nuke (Archmage, Soultaker, Mystic Muse, Storm Screamer), bow, dagger, pole. Match the room, not the thumbnail.

Leftover chairs are not decoration. Bow watches the map. Dagger cuts a backline. Fortune Seeker opens the Sweep table drop x1 will not gift — spoiler. An Elder who cancels changes a route fight. A balanced party Interlude is holes filled, not nine of last week’s free class.

Buffer is four chairs, not one shout

Matching types “lf buffer” as if that were one occupation. On C6 it is four kits. This page places chairs, not books.

  • Prophet / Hierophant. Target buffs. Nine people, nine clicks. Does not chant. Does not sing. Prophet.
  • Warcryer / Doomcryer. Party chants. One cast, the nine. Not a Cardinal and not an Overlord. Doomcryer.
  • Overlord / Dominator. Clan seals. Matters when the tag is the fight. In a Giran pickup with no clan, this is not the Warcryer you typed. Overlord.
  • Swordsinger / Bladedancer (Sword Muse / Spectral Dancer at 76). Songs and dances. They stack with chants and Prophet. They are not the same button as a shout. Book: songs and dances.

Cruma often wants one shout or one Prophet, then a singer if a chair is free. A flagged road wants songs more than a fifth mage. NPC buffer, scheme and AIO — if L2 Sansara lists them on /info — cover village basics. They do not sit Oly, follow a flag, or replace healer or tank on a boss that hurts. QoL: buffer and autofarm.

Nine seats that actually work on C6

An Interlude party setup that works when the floor or the raid is real — roles, not a High Five “S tier nine.” You do not always fill every chair.

  1. Tank. Someone who can hold. Empty on a smash and the healer is already dead.
  2. Healer. Someone who can rez. Empty on Core and you are practicing a wipe.
  3. Party chant. Warcryer → Doomcryer. One button on nine people.
  4. Songs or dances. One Muse or one Spectral Dancer. Optional on farm. Think harder on a raid party Interlude and a road fight.
  5. Target buffer or skip. Hierophant if the fight is long and the scheme is thin. Skip a soft camp if you need the kill chair more.
  6. Primary AoE nuke. Pack clearer. Archmage is the shout name. Muse, Screamer and Soultaker still empty rooms.
  7. Second DPS. Another nuke on a parked pack, or a bow if the room adds.
  8. Utility DPS. Dagger on a flagged map. Pole (Warlord line) in a hallway. Second bow if you are losing ranged.
  9. Flex. Fortune Seeker if Sweep is why you sat. Second healer on an epic. Cancel elder on a PvP night. Extra nuke last.

That is nine seats that work. A best party Interlude list of nine nukes is a screenshot. Soft farm: nuke, chant, potions. Mid dungeon: tank, healer, chant, two nukes, spoiler — Cruma is a building, not a channel. Contested map: add bow or dagger; the sixth mage does not scout — PvP and karma. A dragon wants seats 1–4 filled before you argue Archmage versus Soultaker. Enchant safe +4 on the weapon that enters the lair. Cap +18 is not a ticket to sit. Maps: farm spots.

Loot mode is the fight before the pull

C6 gives the leader five vanilla modes. Set one before the first pack. The shout wipe starts here more often than on the boss.

  • Item Looter. One designated picker — usually the leader. Fine if you trust them. Not fine if the lead is a stranger from the Giran fountain.
  • Random. The client splits drop in range. Still x1. Random does not invent a second recipe.
  • By Turn. Rotation. Calmer than random when the same nine will sit an hour.
  • Random including spoil / By Turn including spoil. Sweep joins the same pot. Spoil marks. Sweep collects. Dump that bag into random without a pact and the Fortune Seeker leaves on run three.

Adena is x500 and both item tables are x1. Loot mode does not change the rate. It changes who pockets the recipe that dropped once this afternoon. Agree Looter or Random for the floor. Agree Sweep for the dwarf. Two tables: drop vs spoil. Extra rules, if any: /info.

Farm nines on x500: fill a hole, not the count

Low-rate habit fills nine because the bar would not move. Here the bar already moved. A duo with shots closes Abandoned Camp without matching. Party farm pays when the group kills a floor a solo kit cannot bank — Ant Nest density, a Cruma landing, a TOI room that adds — not when you want a second EXP multiplier. There is no second x500.

The chair that pays on drop x1 holds, heals, or Sweeps. An eighth mage on the same clump as the seventh is a split. Five to seven who rotate clean usually beat nine who clip blizzard. Duo on a soft tile. Nine on a dense or flagged tile. Money maps: farm Adena. Party-only zones, if any, are on /info.

Subclass is free on the published sheet at main 75. It does not fill a ninth chair. Noblesse, as published, is last hit on Barakiel with party credit. Dual class is another era.

Weight, shots, and the wipe that is not a class

Parties die overweight or dry on blessed spiritshot. They do not die because seat six is Duelist instead of Archmage. Adena x500 fills the bag. Drop x1 leaves stacks you never vendor. Then you walk slow, then you do not hit, then Adena stays on the corpse. Warehouse, not “invite another robe” — warehouse and weight. .deposit / .withdraw, if published, are on /info.

Shots match weapon grade. C on C. A D stack on a C staff does not fire. Fighters drink soulshot. Mystics drink spiritshot and blessed spiritshot. Boxes drop x1; Adena x500 restocks. Bind the stack so zero is visible. Empty belt mid-TOI is Giran you skipped. Soulshot and spiritshot.

Raid party Interlude versus a floor nine

A raid party Interlude is still nine people. The difference is the job and the layer above. Queen Ant, Core and Orfen are early epics a prepared nine can attempt — three maps, not one matching title. Rooms: Queen Ant, Core, Orfen. Baium is a statue and a channel, not a bored TOI farm. Antharas and Valakas are clan-scale earth and fire, not Giran LFG — Antharas and Valakas.

No invented HP, resist percents, or spawn clock. If L2 Sansara shortened a dragon, /info wins. Agree loot before the ring hits the floor. Drop x1: that argument ends parties faster than the smash. A raid nine still wants seats 1–4. Nine nukes on a dragon is a graveyard with good gear.

Command channel Interlude is not a bigger party

Command channel Interlude sits on top of the nine: several parties, one channel chat, one channel leader. It is C6. It is not High Five raid frames, not Essence’s instance finder, and not “a party of 40.” Each nine still has its own invite, loot mode, and EXP range. The channel points those nines at one door.

Retail C6 opened a channel from a clan-level-5+ party leader with Clan Imperium, or with the Strategy Guide item. If L2 Sansara changed the requirement, the size, or who loots an RB, the sheet is /info. “CC for Cruma 2nd” mixes a building with a lair. “Party Antharas” in matching is the wrong client. Ask for a clan, a channel, and a time.

Castle siege uses the same brick: registered clan, gate, throne. You may sit a nine inside the channel. The siege is not the nine — castle siege and clans.

Flag PvP uses the same roles in a different order

Open-world PvP is not Cruma with a different title. Farm hits packs. A flag hits people: cancel, burst, peel. The skeleton is still tank, healer, buffer, DPS. Extra chairs change: dagger, bow and a second support usually beat a fifth mage.

  • The tank holds space and eats focus so the healer can breathe. They are not “tanking a mob.”
  • Buffers paint before contact. There is no recast window once the trade starts.
  • Nuke does not dump the room if the skill hits your own healer.
  • Someone cuts their healer (dagger) or their nuke (bow or another robe).

This is a bridge, a TOI landing, a road — not a castle registration and not Olympiad. Seven who agreed a target beat nine who each picked a different robe. Playing is free. .sellbuff is a player packing a book, not a mall composition.

What this nine is not

Shout mixes four things the client keeps separate.

  • Olympiad. 1v1. 18:00–22:00 GMT-3 on L2 Sansara. Noblesse, then nine class fights for Hero. No “party oly” matching. Olympiad and Hero.
  • Siege. Registered clan. You can be in a party inside the channel. Without the tag you watch from the grass.
  • Academy / ally. Academy is a clan-level-5+ branch for characters under 40 with no 2nd class. It does not fill nine raid chairs — clan academy. An alliance is not an invite.
  • A 7-man or a raid frame. Classic and Essence taught seven portraits and forty bars. L2 Sansara is Interlude: nine heads, Alt+P, shout in Giran. No Kamael. No Awakening. Subclass yes. Dual class no.

Party is farm, open world, and the brick inside a raid. Hero tonight — do not build a nine. Aden Castle — ask for a clan. A floor — invite the hole.

Create the account, download C6, send the invite. Rates, NPC buffer, offline shop and unpublished party rules: /info. Nine is the ceiling. The floor is whoever leads.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

How many people fit in an Interlude party?
Nine. A 9 man party L2 is one leader and eight invites on Interlude. A tenth player is another party. Command channel Interlude stacks those nines for a dragon or a castle. It is not a 40-man raid frame and not Essence’s seven-man party.
How do I invite someone on C6?
Right-click → Invite, or /invite plus the name. They accept the window. Looking for Party (classic Alt+P) is only the board. Discord and shout do not sit the chair. Kick, lead and loot mode stay on the leader.
What is a good Interlude party setup?
Write the job first. Soft floor: nuke, one buffer, potions. Dense floor: tank, healer, one buffer, nukes, spoiler if Sweep pays. Raid: that core plus ranged. Nine Archmages is a corpse queue, not a balanced party Interlude.
Is a healer mandatory in every Interlude party?
No on a camp that dies to sleep and a belt. Yes on a raid, a siege, and any floor that can flatten a robe. An NPC scheme does not rez a wipe on Core. Cardinal, Eva’s Saint or Shillien Saint is the seat — kit play is the Bishop page.
Does a PvE party need a tank?
If the pack adds or the boss smashes, yes — so the healer is not the pull. Soft-mob nuke farm can skip the chair. Antharas cannot. Phoenix Knight, Hell Knight and the templars are the names. How hold plays is the tank article.
Does the NPC buffer replace the healer or the tank?
No. NPC buffer, scheme and AIO, if /info lists them, shorten the village minute. They do not heal a smash, hold Core, or rez the nine. A human Prophet, Warcryer, singer or dancer still changes a real fight. Autofarm is not published.
Are party and command channel the same thing?
No. Party is nine portraits, one loot window, one EXP range. Command channel Interlude is several of those nines on the same epic or gate. Queen Ant can be a strong nine. Antharas is a channel. “CC for Enchanted Valley” mixes a money map with a lair.
Looter, Random or By Turn — which loot mode?
Item Looter needs a leader you trust. Random splits the floor. By Turn is calmer for a long sit. The two “including spoil” modes dump Sweep into the same pot — do not pick them on a Fortune Seeker unless Sweep stays theirs. The mode does not multiply drop x1.
Does x500 multiply party experience?
No. EXP, SP and Adena x500 are already on the character. Grouping does not paste a second x500. We will not invent L2 Sansara’s party-bonus number. Custom party rate, if any, is on /info. You group to kill a floor you cannot bank alone.
Is Olympiad played in a party?
No. Olympiad on L2 Sansara is 1v1, 18:00–22:00 GMT-3. Hero is noblesse plus nine class fights. A party can help last-hit Barakiel for noblesse. The arena is you. Do not post “party oly” in matching.

You've got the guide. The next click is to get in.

Playing on L2 Sansara is free. PvP, farm and Olympiad make sense when you read them — and you win them by playing. Discord is where clan, raid and siege come together.
