Dusk, Dawn and the seals that lock a week
Seven Signs Lineage 2: Dusk versus Dawn, catacombs, necropolis and the three seals. Festival, cabal and what a period actually changes on L2 Sansara.
Seven Signs Lineage 2 is the cycle Interlude never retired. Seven Signs Interlude splits the world into Dusk vs Dawn, closes dungeons and argues seals as if they were a siege. On L2 Sansara the level rush is x500; the cycle, unless /info customized it, still owns catacomb and necropolis. Drop x1: a locked spot hurts.
TOI is not SS — Tower of Insolence. Castle war is another clock: castle siege. Money maps: farm spots.
Dusk vs Dawn: two sides, one period
Dawn (Lords of Dawn) and Dusk (Revolutionaries of Dusk). Priests of each cabal are the NPCs. You register, farm stones, vote, enter the festival. It is not a clan. It is not a race. It is the cycle side. If your group farms necropolis, join the side that necropolis will open. Ideological loneliness in SS is a locked farm.
A period adds points; seals change the map. Switching mid-period has book rules; if L2 Sansara customized the window, /info says so. We do not invent the calendar.
Festival of Darkness Interlude
Festival of Darkness Interlude is the wave room. A party enters, clears, scores. Tank or pet, buffer, nuke or archer. A lone dagger eats the timer and blames the server. On L2 Sansara EXP is already x500 — do not fill nine seats with AFK to “share a bonus.” Enter to clear the wave.
Seal stones are the period farm: kill mobs that drop the stone, turn them in at the priest. We do not invent room length or festival loot. The client and the sheet win. Ancient Adena from the cycle is cycle currency — not Adena x500.
Seal of Avarice, Seal of Gnosis, Seal of Strife
Seal of Avarice, Seal of Gnosis and Seal of Strife are the prize of the period. Avarice moves farm and necropolis. Gnosis moves catacombs and teleport. Strife moves PvP / tax rules the C6 book describes. Privates touch all three. If L2 Sansara published a table, it is on /info. If it did not, play the vanilla cycle and do not demand “eternal seal” from a GM.
Catacomb Interlude and necropolis Interlude
Catacomb Interlude and necropolis Interlude are the SS dungeons. Floors, mid-high mobs, the farm that vanishes when the other side wins the seal. That is why “join Dawn” in shout is not a joke: it is a seat on next week’s spot. Apostate, Pilgrim and the entrance list are dungeon detail — this page is the cycle.
PvP happens inside. Village safe zone does not apply in the corridor. Bring the kit the cycle is worth, not the dragon S.
Mammon, Ancient Adena, and what this page does not steal
Blacksmith, Merchant and Priest of Mammon show up with the cycle. Where they spawn and what they sell is another wave. Ancient Adena is the coin Adena x500 does not print. Losing SS hurts the old wallet, not only the spot.
This is not a castle siege and it is not Olympiad. Oly 18:00–22:00 GMT-3 still wants noble. Siege still wants a roster. SS wants a side and a period.
How to play the cycle without a manifesto
Join the side your party will farm. Do the festival if the group can clear waves. Turn in stones. Read which seal locked your dungeon. Safe enchant +4 on the kit you take inside; cap +18 is not a cabal ticket.
Create the account, download Interlude, and treat /info as the only custom-period page this site repeats. If the sheet is silent, the book is C6 Seven Signs — drop x1, doors that close.
